ROYALTY MAP

Based on Geo-referential maps formula, Mapa Regalias or Royalties Maps is a platform that provides free access to public information to Colombian citizens regarding what the government is financing with its royalties, so anyone can know where the money is and how it is used. Specifically, citizens can track information about royalty revenues received by each local government, the destination of the funds, the contractor selected to execute the project and the progress of implementation.

This is the first step to the Mapa Inversiones or Investment Map initiative, which aims to provide access to all citizens of Latin America of their governments’ expenditure in public investment.
